ONLY Expungement Law
In most cases we can Expunge your criminal conviction by withdrawing your plea of guilty or no contest, entering a new "Not Guilty" plea, and having the case dismissed and set aside by the Court.
Once relief has been granted, you can honestly answer "no" to a question regarding criminal convictions in many circumstances. Misdemeanor and Felony convictions can usually be expunged.
The law is complex in certain areas, but expungement is something that SHOULD be done by everyone with even a minor record. Records are not automatically expunged with the passage of time. The Expungement procedure will take from 6 to 16 weeks (sometimes longer) depending upon the Court, the complexity of the case, and how old the conviction is.
